The invention of the Music Typing Keyboard (patent 21/7/2007 – Music Typing Keyboard”) represents a decisive step in the process of realization of a “music typing technique” aimed at creating a more natural relationship between the traditional composer and the computer systems of musical notation. The Music Typing Keyboard (MTK) is intended for musicians, composers and/or copyists and anyone interested in writing music through a music latest generation software thanks to a writing technique allowing a fluent fingering of notes and musical symbols. In order to express all potentialities of the written language, one has to learn and make own such technique, which represents an alternative to the usual control sequence and toolbar. The main peculiarity of this technique is not an immediate easy use, typical of the computer procedure, familiar especially to the young generation (and which is not a fast and fluent writing), but an easy and natural learning of a new “skill”, typical of the traditional typewriting technique and characterized by the simple notational guidonian system. In order to avoid disappointments, one recommend a learning of the type-musical technique according to the principles of the traditional typewriting. Only in this way, you can shortly meet your target, i.e. a technique of musical writing able to keep up with the creativity of those who love to write music, by profession or by delight.
